Open Morning for Preschool Parents/Guardians (February 24th)
We were delighted to welcome preschool parents/guardians to our Open Morning event. It was a fantastic opportunity for parents to experience our preschool environment and engage with our dedicated staff.
The primary objective of the Open Morning was to familiarize parents/guardians with the new structure of our preschool program. This restructuring aims to enhance the educational experience of our preschoolers by focusing on excellent literacy skills and social instructiveness.
The revamped preschool program now comprises three compulsory classes, each tailored to the developmental needs of our young learners. Additionally, we are introducing an optional pre-primary class, providing flexibility for parents/guardians and catering to individual learning preferences.
During the Open Morning, parents/guardians had the opportunity to:
- Engage with our dedicated preschool educators who provided insights into the curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Explore the redesigned classrooms and learning environments optimized for interactive learning experiences.
- Gain an understanding of the specific learning outcomes and developmental milestones targeted in each class.
- Participate in interactive sessions and demonstrations to experience firsthand the activities and resources utilized to foster literacy skills and social interaction.
The feedback received from parents/guardians was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing enthusiasm and support for the new preschool structure. They appreciated the emphasis on literacy development and social interaction, recognizing the importance of these foundational skills in their child's educational journey.
As we move forward with the implementation of the new preschool program, we encourage parents/guardians to stay engaged and actively participate in their child's learning journey. Open communication between home and school is essential for ensuring the success and well-being of our preschoolers.
The Open Morning event was a resounding success, fostering collaboration and partnership between parents/guardians and our preschool community. We are confident that the innovative changes to our preschool program will empower our young learners to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Thank you to all parents/guardians who attended the event and for your continued support of STEM Child Care Academy.
