Second Term Review

Dear Parents and Guardians

We are delighted to celebrate the successful completion of the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session. The term was filled with growth, innovation, learning experiences and remarkable achievements.

Students continued to excel, teachers engaged in professional development and parents remained supportive throughout the term.

Training for Staff

The term commenced with a two-day intensive teacher training held on 5th and 6th January 2026.

Additional professional development sessions were conducted on 31st January and 27th February focusing on:

  • Safety
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Classroom Management

Mr. Bulama, the PTA Chairman, also participated as one of the facilitators.


STEM Sports Festival 2026: Awaken the Winner Within

The Sports Festival was the major highlight of the term with the theme:

“Awaken the Winner Within”

The festival held on 14th February 2026 at Moshood Abiola Stadium after weeks of preparation and training.

Activities included march pasts, synchronized drills, athletic contests and field events.

Competition Results

  • Zeeina House – 1st Place
  • Rose House – First Runner-Up
  • Daliya House – Second Runner-Up

Evaluation and Assessment

Continuous Assessment was conducted from 24th – 27th February 2026.

Terminal Examinations took place from 9th – 16th March 2026 across all subjects.


Open Day

Open Day was held on 17th March 2026 where parents met teachers for one-on-one discussions regarding students’ progress and wellbeing.


Behavioural Reward Fair

The school organized its first Behavioural Reward Fair on 12th February 2026.

Students earned reward coins through good behaviour, discipline and responsibility. These coins were exchanged for snacks during the event.

The programme reinforced discipline and positive behaviour.


Girls in Science Day

The Girls in Science Programme was held on 11th February 2026 to encourage female participation in STEM.

Activities included:

  • Motivational speeches
  • Pop quizzes
  • Science exhibitions
  • Student project presentations

Islamiyya Department Highlights

Students recorded progress in:

  • Qur'an Memorization
  • Arabic Studies
  • Islamic Character Development
  • Islamic Studies

Additional programmes included Ramadan lectures, moral guidance and examination preparations.


CRS Department Highlights

The CRS department promoted learning, discipline and spiritual growth.

Activities included:

  • School Fair Day
  • Friday Fellowships
  • Bible Recitations
  • Drama Presentations
  • Songs and Worship Sessions

  • British Council Certifications
  • Playful Explorers Programme
  • Emotional Intelligence Training
  • Classroom Management Training
  • HMO Awareness Programme
  • Pension Training
