Dear Parents and Guardians
We hope this newsletter finds you well. We are excited to share updates on the just concluded term, highlight some of our achievements and provide important information about the upcoming academic session.
The past term has been a period of remarkable growth and development for our students academically, socially and emotionally.

SCCA Celebrates Children’s Day
We celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and joy at Monaliza Park on 27th May 2024. The event featured fun activities, Pirate Ship rides, Roller Coaster rides, music, dancing and performances by children and staff.
Safety measures were maintained throughout the event to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.
Anti-Bullying Week at STEM Child Care Academy
From May 13th – 17th, the academy held its first Anti-Bullying Week aimed at promoting kindness, respect and inclusion.
Activities included anti-bullying marches, awareness campaigns, workshops and seminars involving students, staff and invited experts.
The school chairman led the campaign and emphasized the importance of maintaining a bully-free environment.
Mid-Term Open Day
On June 8th, the school hosted its Open Day after the mid-term break. Parents and guardians toured classrooms, observed facilities and discussed academic progress with teachers.
The event strengthened the relationship between the academy and parents.
SCCA Welcomes Rotary Club
The school commenced the Rota Kid Club on June 7th in collaboration with Abuja Rotary Club.
Members were inducted, executives appointed and leadership training sessions conducted.
Students were encouraged to embrace leadership, service and community development.
NASRDA Sets Space Club at SCCA
The Space Club was launched on May 24th with support from NASRDA.
Students known as “Space Kids” were introduced to astronomy, space science and emerging technologies.
NASRDA conducts weekly training sessions every Friday.
Results Are In
Parents and guardians can now access their children’s results through the Gomobile communication app.
The school remains committed to improving learning experiences and introducing reforms to enhance services.
